CCMPO is in the process of a 2009 update on the Park & Ride Plan, which will build on previous efforts while expanding the park and ride plan’s scope to include a well defined purpose and need, plan goals and objectives, a more detailed view of high priority sites and projects, outreach to user groups and a look at facilities in neighboring regions. CCMPO has advanced a regional park and ride strategy through a number of plans and studies; a 1993 Study, the 1999 Plan, and most recently, the 2004 Plan focusing on prioritization of facility locations by "type" (e.g. Intercept lot (or Satellite lot) v.s. Park & Ride lot). |
