At its meeting on May 16th, the CCMPO voted to warn a public hearing for Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at
7:00 p.m. at its offices at 30 Kimball Avenue, Suite 102, South Burlington to review and hear public comments on its proposed FY2008 Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) and budget.
The UPWP includes the transportation planning tasks the CCMPO proposes to have done by staff and/or consultants during our fiscal year, which will run from July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2008. We are including a copy of the full document for your review.
A second public hearing will follow on proposed amendments to the CCMPO Bylaws. In April we sent you a memo describing the modifications we were proposing along with the bylaws showing the "tracked" changes. Enclosed is the proposed new document. Item 3j was added to describe how the local match is assessed to the communities.
This mailing provides the CCMPO communities with a 15-day notice of the public hearings as required by our bylaws. Please review the proposed UPWP and Bylaws and notify your MPO representative of any concerns or comments. Public comments will be accepted, preferably in writing or via email (info@ccmpo.org), until the scheduled public hearings on June 20th. Citizens may also provide oral comments at the public hearings.
