South Burlington, VT -
This January, three public meetings are planned for the public to offer ideas for better travel on Route 2 in Burlington, South Burlington, and Williston as part of the Route 2 Corridor Study.
The outcome of the Route 2 Corridor Study will be a system-wide approach that addresses all transportation needs in the corridor including pedestrian, bicycle, bus, light rail, and highway.
The Route 2 Corridor Study is sponsored by the Chittenden County Metropolitan Planning Organization, Vermont Agency of Transportation, US Federal Highway Administration, Chittenden County Transportation Authority, Campus Area Transportation Management Association and the municipalities of Williston, South Burlington, and Burlington.
All are welcome and encouraged to attend. All meetings are fully accessible. Individuals who require special arrangements to participate are encouraged to contact Diane Meyerhoff at least 72 hours in advance (802.865.1794 or 711 for Telecommunications Relay Services).
