Chittenden County communities on energy reduction programs including supporting

Specific activities include student research projects, employee energy
challenge program developed and piloted, and participation in Vermont Clean
Vehicles Coalition meetings including project planning and development for
outside funding.

met with Todd Odit (Town of Essex) and Eleni Churchill (VTrans) to discuss
options for moving forward with the corridor study. It was determined that
Todd would convene a meeting at the MPO offices to discuss the next steps with

attended a Route 15 corridor meeting to discuss plans for using the VTrans
publication, Vermont Corridor Management Handbook, as a guide for the
study. Consensus was reached and an initial steering committee formed. A
