Abstract:

This database contains the location points for counting bicycle & pedestrian traffic in Chittenden County, Vermont. In some cases, locations were conducive to collect continuous Bike/Ped data using either pnuematic bicycle counters and/or infared pedestrian & bicycle counters yielding Bike/Ped ADT. Other locations have single-day or partial-day long counts.

Purpose:

This data represents the status of traffic occurance on any particular segment of sidewalk or shared-use path assigned a "Traffic Count Station". It is used for traffic impact studies and scoping study alternatives, etc. where data collected over time can yield an expected trend of traffic...
