Transportation For Livable Communities (TLC)

We are pleased to send you the enclosed information about FY2006 planning grants available under the Chittenden County Metropolitan Planning Organization's (CCMPO) Transportation for Livable Communities (TLC) Program. The TLC program's purpose is to fund planning for transportation projects in Chittenden County that:

• Support a community's development and/or redevelopment activities;
• Will be conducted through a collaborative and inclusive planning process; and
• Enhance a community's identity and overall quality of life.

Grants range from approximately $4,000 to $20,000 and require a 20 percent non-federal match. A total of $50,000 is available.

Enclosed you will find an application package and instructions. In order to be eligible for funding in FY2006, TLC applications must be received at the CCMPO offices by 5:00 PM on Friday, September 2, 2006.
