2008 MTP Scenario Planning Tasks: Questions and Answers

The Chittenden County Metropolitan Planning Organization issued a Request for Qualifications in regard to the MTP Scenario Planning tasks. Below is a list of questions and answers received from consultants interested in submitting proposals. Questions will be accepted until April 18, 2008 to ensure that all parties have adequate time to review the answers.

1. If the MPO or RPC provide large graphics or other demonstrative materials for public gatherings, use of visualization tools, etc., do they expect reimbursement for either time and/or materials?

Maps and other graphics for use at public meetings prepared by CCRPC or CCMPO staff will be at our cost. No reimbursement expected.

2. Required financial form II, Standard Form 330 appears to be used to obtain information from architect-engineer firms about their qualifications. Must a non-architect-engineer firm, responding to an RFQ that does not require architect-engineer qualifications specifically, complete and submit SF 330 in its entirety or in part?

Non architect-engineer firms should fill out this form as best they can, noting N/A as appropriate.

3. Are the Scenario Planning RFQ and MTP Financial Plan RFP the only MTP tasks the CCMPO will be seeking consultant assistance on?

Yes. At this point in time, these are the only consultant tasks contemplated.

4. If necessary, can RPC staff support a public gathering with GIS and visualization tools to produce either images or documents in real-time?

RPC staff has the technical ability to do this, however, be advised that prep time could be significant. Details would need to be worked out well in advance of the public gathering.
