REGIONAL BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN PLANNING

Study Background

With help from Wilbur Smith Associates, the CCMPO recently completed an expanded update to its 1993 Alternative Transportation Path Plan. Following a couple of years of working with local communities and documentation review by the Bike/Pedestrian Steering Committee, the CCMPO's Regional Bicycle-Pedestrian Plan won subcommittee and Board approvals this past summer and early fall. This document - whose text and map are available by clicking on the links below - will now become the bike and pedestrian element of the region's Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP).
